I have been disgusted by Cozens tonight, but frankly the whole team has been lax, lazy and slow as far as sticking up for each other. It wasn't that long ago that the same issue came up when TNT got hit and nobody came to his defense. Supposedly the guys said something like "this won't happen again"....what a bunch of BS again from these players. Tonight's actions tell me they don't care about each other....maybe never did really this season. I have to now believe there are locker room issues that haven't been exposed. This is NOT a team....not even close.

When the scrum started, Cozens stood and actually looked away toward the bench (knowing fully well the scrum was going on). Has his mouthguard hanging out of his mouth and looked totally disinterested. He never got engaged, didn't even try. I've tried to believe he belongs, but I am now convinced he is a CANCER on this team. Please deal him away tomorrow.

Vasilevskiy really looks bad tonight.

I still believe that he got pi$$ed at GMKA for not having his back last season when he said the team got "bullied". GMKA said something which fairly strongly disagreed with Cozens and I wonder if he hasn't given a $hit since then. I actually agree with Cozen's sentiment and still do.

This suggests to me that JJP has indicated to GMKA that he is not willing to sign a long term deal....maybe not any deal???

IMHO - trading him would be addition by subtraction.

OMG - Dylan Cozens disgusts me....falls like he got hit by a train (hardly touched Cernak), then gets up in slow motion and barely skates into the scrum after Dahlin gets into a scrum with Cernak. He should have bounced up and been the first guy in there.....absolutely lazy, cowardly and disgusting. Please get him off this team ASAP.

Maybe trade Joki is all that will happen Friday. As far as an “overhaul”, I am less optimistic of that happening until 2026. I would trade everything associated with the Sabres (owner, management, players, etc.) for the SJS team. I know they're below us in the standings, but they'll finish ahead of us starting next season...plus they have some legit young talent/stars.
