I still say he needs to work on his upper body strength. It may help and certainly would not hurt during a scrap.

Maybe Kulich should be on the PP in front of the net....we haven't had a good tipper since Samson....maybe Kulich may have some talent there???

As I think about it, I am not sure I am seeing anything close to an all-out effort by Cozens on the ice. Even if he is hesitant to get into scrums….I wonder if his overall effort looks like somebody who wants to still be here or not. I’m starting to think he’s just mailing it in so to maybe get traded. IDK, thoughts?

IMHO - Ristolainen played a much more feisty game than Power ever will. Yes, both are weaker defensively and might show a little offensive burst here and there, but Risto did not play like a weakling. Not a fighter, but still made opponents know he was there after the whistle.

Sadly, this was already viewed as needs at the end of last season….but GMKA’s incompetence has us still dealing with these gaps

IMHO - he’s a right hand shot D-man, so he will have some trade value. If GMKA doesn’t trade him at the deadline, then I consider that to be another failure on his part. I’m not saying you’re wrong….after all, we are talking about GMKA here.

Lousy 1st round drafting is not a new problem for this team. Aside from Eichel and Reinhart, a lot of 1st round picks by Darcy Regier did not pan out very well either. Our drafting has been generally cursed for decades now.
