I’d take him over Adams in a heartbeat. At least he has the stones to make moves and I suspect tell TP to leave him alone (to run the team). Howdy Doody Adams is a joke of a public figure and has no executive pedigree whatsoever.

The only answer for Pegula and Adams is to do their ostrich imitations and stick their heads into the ground.

This is kind of my hope….that the team continues to lose to the point the embarrassment exceeds Pegula’s thin-skinned pain threshold and he finally acts. I’m sorry to say I am rooting for Pegula and Adams to be ridiculed so much by international media that he eventually has to make a public appearance to explain himself.

“Accountability” certainly has not happened, despite the off-season rhetoric from the team. The question I ponder on this thread is what does a player do who WANTS to be traded off of this sinking ship? Is it better to continue to suck as a player, thus making the asking price lower for GMKA to pull the trigger on a trade OR is it better to play like you’re a UFA and want to get a maximum payday new contract. In the latter case, play so that more teams may want you (at the risk of the Sabres asking price going up).

Maybe they do a switch-a-roo……HC heir apparent Seth Appert becomes HC per the Pegula plan, but Lindy stays on as an assistant. Pegula doesn’t spend any more money for a new hire, Ruff can step back and let Seth take all the heat. Two months from now, Pegula can meet with the team and tell them he believes in Seth.
