I know it's a penalty, but somehow I like the fact that a D-man (Montour) aggressively removed another player from in front of our net.

That other Sabre happened to be Dahlin, who IMHO followed Matthews all the way out to the point into Sheary's coverage area. Unfortunately, Dahlin was the one out of position.

Typical Sabres mismatch....can't expect EROD to handle Marleau in front of our net.

Yes, leave Sam on wing. This team needs a 2C badly. Besides anchoring a second scoring line, we need another highly capable center in case Eichel gets injured. It happens every year and when Eichel is out, the team struggles....no center depth to compensate.
