Agreed. I would only add that our team +/- deteriorates during the course of a game as well. For the season, the team is in the "plus" side for the 1st period. It goes negative for the 2nd, and even further negative in the 3rd. The Tampa game was an exception, but otherwise the stats say we start off well, but lose ground in the second and then fall further behind in the 3rd. If we can improve our team defense in the second half of a game, this will keep us in games longer and result in more points.

Yes, the top 5 now looking maybe the strongest it's been in years. I tend to think they also match-up fairly well with HCPH's approach of having offensive capable D-men who can jump up into the play for offense. I don't see any pure "stay at home" types above IMHO.

Yes he is too small, in the defensive zone. If he can put some pounds on to take care of business in front of his own net, then I'll change my tune. He would be better suited playing forward on this team until he fills out some more.

Scandella - should be a 5/6 Beaulieu - 5/6 if he is even here after Monday Hunwick - 5/6 and not getting any younger Nelson - can't crack the current lineup Pilut - too small Guhle - still waiting for him to stick with the big boys Borgen - interesting but not sure when we'll see him Laksonan (?) - who knows Samuelsson (?) - who knows Risto maybe more a 3/4 to your point, problem is that we can't expect to contend with the list above unless another name appears not currently in the system.
