  1. So much for TT. Anybody want to see Murray called up to bang around some bodies?
  2. Normally Sheary IS on his knees because he get's knocked down so much. Maybe Mitts assumed he would already be on the ground by the time his shot got there.
  3. I am starting the think the only consolation left for this game is to keep Alex Nylander from scoring against us.
  4. 0 - 0 - 0 .....we want 1.....SOG!
  5. Gee, big powerful, fast and skilled young player. Seem's like something we should try drafting more of!
  6. Chicago's third period strategy....everybody covers Eichel....don't worry about the rest of the Sabres...no immediate threat!
  7. I don't think so....right now Jimmy's hands are made of stone.
  8. Vesey needs an "easy" button.
  9. A disruption in the "Force"!
  10. This is why Buffalo needs to shoot more. You don't get crap bad luck goals unless you attempt shots that end up being crap bad luck goals.
  11. I would not mind seeing Jack getting an empty netter...."Hey Connor, you only scored 3?"
  12. So Rob Ray says Dahlin has been benched since the Ennis goal....the only problem is that Dahlin was not on the ice when Ennis made it 2 -2. Anybody else see anything as to why he was benched? Did something happen in the 2nd period?
  13. Is the cameraman drunk?
  14. Meatballs > Wings He stayed in Sweden.
  15. The only thing I can add is that some lack the talent to score!
  16. I may or may not agree with you completely on whether to keep Risto, but I absolutely agree with you that "if" he is dealt, that nothing less than a legitimate top 6 scoring forward is the return. Preferably a 2C or RW who can bring speed, scoring and ideally a little edge too. I am tired of having an overabundance of 3rd or 4th line players who can't score and/or cause the other teams to take notice.
  17. Whether you like JB's trades or not, he seems pretty good at keeping them under wraps....with maybe two exceptions with STL and SJ....where the whole free world knew he had to get whatever he could.
  18. I think the fact that the list is so few of 5 year players, that to me speaks volumes. Our sample size is so small because we either fail at developing and/or trade them for a supposed better return...which is also debatable in terms of how well that has gone. Not to mention that our track record of drafting bona fide NHL talent is not so good.
  19. Exactly...you can't teach accuracy...he had chances to hit wide open receivers but continues to miss to often. This is not a new problem for him. I am hoping for the best because he seems like a really good kid, but he has to hit open receivers better.
  20. The problem is, there is very little in the pipeline that suggest this will all get better soon. I like Cozens, TT - who knows?, but what other players have we drafted who show the potential to be both tough and top 6 forwards. I don't want to settle for bottom 6 tough role players, but scorers who aren't afraid to mix it up vs. being pushovers.
  21. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a Sabres coach so motivated....don't give an inch!
