  1. Isn't this sad that we are researching what counts as a SOG? It was so low that we are looking for scraps to possibly move the number to something higher that what we can count on one hand.
  2. So correct me if I'm wrong, but 3 PP's and NO SOG for all three combined. As far as special teams, our coaching is in over their heads here and management will probably do nothing. Our goaltending and offense in general is not good enough overcome being -1 or -2 each game because of crappy special teams.
  3. 2 SOG's so far this period? How do you expect to keep a lead or win a game being that passive. Geez, shoot the puck!
  4. Sam's game has concerned me lately. On this latest turnover, he acted like he didn't give a crap and was the last man back....gliding.
  5. Kind of like when Toronto loses as well! Great PK work by Vesey!
  6. He's more suited as a 2C on Rochester.
  7. At least Erod did not make a blind pass to other team. Yes, I agree....Casey needed to sit....but I don't expect anything different when he returns.
  8. Best line of the period by a mile for us in my opinion.
  9. The PP is so bad, I feel like flipping over to the Hallmark channel to watch Christmas movies for two minutes and hope we don't give up a shortie when I come back.
  10. Let's play the Johan, Zemgus and Kyle as our PP unit tonight! Can't believe I'm saying that.
  11. It's like watching a sloth doing aerobics.
  12. As long as we can play 5 vs 5, we might have a chance tonight. Let's hope the refs take a night off, including no Buffalo PP's.
  13. What is so hard about moving players around, establishing a net front presence and shooting the puck on the PP?
  14. Agreed, not only is Rochester thin, but there is very little to be optimistic about from a center or forward standpoint. Cozens yes, but Asplund and Tage are not legit top 6 forwards. Pekar may be interesting, but not realistically top 6. Botterill has stocked the D corps with picks (Johnson, samuelsson, Laaksonen), but somebody please tell me where we have any other forward prospects to get excited about....aside from Cozens? The only way to get bonafide forward talent who can help immediately is via trade and our only commodity is D-prospects and future draft picks. Nobody wants our trash.
  15. Until the last 5 minutes of the game of course....and then all of a sudden we might look decent, score a goal and call it a quality loss that the team will learn from.
  16. Sorry, but Casey is not and will not be a bonafide top 6 forward in this league.
  17. Traveling through western Canada ain't like dusting crops, boy! Without precise calculations we could fly right through a mountain or bounce too close to a moose and that'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it?
  18. Sure why not...they scored even strength, also on the PP, also short-handed.....let's give them an empty netter too so that they can cover all the categories. ?
  19. Thank goodness this is not a home game...if it were, the Sabres should refund the tickets and provide free concessions.
  20. How refreshing to see a PK where a short-handed team is aggressive. Why not try to put pressure on the puck and force the other team to be perfect? Too bad Buffalo has no clue. Sorry, but that's on the coaching!
  21. I just want to see Jack's point scoring streak continue.
  22. On the next Calgary penalty, Buffalo should seriously consider just playing a normal 5 man unit with 3 forwards and 2 D-men. Pathetic, but I rather see them play it like a normal 5 on 5 situation.
  23. There's still a minute left....they can still score on this penalty.....Calgary that is!
  24. I like that WIlson and Ovechkin went after him afterwards.....vs. the Sabres raising their hands to the ref's "Aren't you going to call a penalty" reaction.
