Under this ownership and management…..NEVER! To them, it’s all about having a tight room of guys who love each other (so to speak)….but when the chips are down, they run and hide vs. confront. As far as inside the locker room, I’d rather have some tension within the team to make them uncomfortable with each other for a change. Getting along ain’t working, so get some alpha males who will get into fellow teammate faces and challenge them to be better.

Not a lot of playing time to assess. Malenstyn’s injury shook up what was already a shorter forward group (11-7 lineup that went down to just 10). Seemed like Rosen was kind of the odd man out as the game wore on. Hopefully there will be a larger sample size against the Preds.

I am a dinosaur, so I agree with your sentiment about analytics. I still rely on my eyes more than pure data to assess a player. Maybe a dumb question, but are there analytics that reflect a player’s “toughness” so to speak in terms of playing physical, aggressive, abrasive, etc.?

Maybe a consolation prize of sorts is that Quinn’s next contract price should not break the bank, based on his so-so season. I would still bridge deal him at a team friendly price, but no issue with removing Cozens, Muel and Joker (who will leave anyway).

Well I’ll be….4 W’s in a row…..if they win against the Preds, that’s 5-0…..which leads me to wonder if it is a blessing or curse that the 4 country tournament interrupts their momentum?!?!

One thing I think they don’t do or have done is much in the way of maximum term contracts. Some of their guys are signed for maybe another 3 or 4 years, but I don’t think they have much of anything in terms of 7 or 8 year deals.

CBJ seem to have a couple of good U of Michigan sharpshooters in Johnson and Fantilli.

So Muel, TNT and UPL all hurt….i am completely shocked, thought they were all iron men 😄

A beard would also be good for TNT, Cozens, Quinn, JJP, Power, etc. At least try to create the illusion that you have more age and grit than a 6 year old birthday party.
