I personally have mixed views on the team's proposed fusion procedure and can be sympathetic to the ADR idea....after all, somebody has to be first. That said, some solid reasons already stated as to why the team should not allow it...as the contract is right now. If Eichel is willing to waive the NMC clause to allow the Sabres to execute any trade they want, whenever they want without a deadline, I would view that as a step in the right direction.

HA! Although Duffer did once have "hair" and was clean-shaven, where I don't remember ever seeing Doug will anything on top.

I know this is a forwards discussion, but let's not forget the power play as well. Not having Jack on the PP was noticeable to me last year and now minus Sam creates an even bigger hole. I do not see anybody from this list of forwards being able to take up the slack and I wasn't convinced it looked much better under Granato than it did with Ralph. Could be a rough season for the powerplay.

I agree with this 100%. To be honest...I didn't care for the Dahlin/Joki pairing.

I won't say it's the "best" commercial, but I have a hard time forgetting Soupy Campbell's excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) commercials.

Not signing any FA's so far on day 1 is actually not a surprise. GMKA is waiting to go dumpster diving for the scraps hoping they're willing to sign for pennies on the dollar after the big teams have shot their wads. Maybe expect another year of Reider or Sheahan type 1-year signings.
