Agree. Having not seeing Ottawa for a while, my initial impression after only 2 periods is that they have better team speed and IMHO are maybe a year ahead of Buffalo in rebuilding. If they are ahead of us, then this year's Ottawa team still is not competing for a playoff spot either.

Jankowski seems to be involved in some of the better scoring opportunities in the limited number shifts he's had. He and Tuch had a chance earlier in the period.

Don't want to jinx anything, but Houser still playing well....seems to be seeing the puck well and rarely out of position tonight. Unfortunate rebound on the tie goal, but otherwise absorbing the puck effectively.

Wow, nice poke check by Dahlin, but bad luck it rebounded right off of Cozens. Otherwise, the poke check would have ended that rush instead of leading to a slashing call.

To me, this seems to be the sentiment we've been hearing every year for the past several. We've been a revolving door of journeymen who have come and gone every year or so. This may not be factually true, but just seems that way.

Love the vintage receivers from the 70's. Nothing compares when paired with a kick-ass set of speakers from the same era. Nice thing about those old Marantz receivers is the mid range control.

Could be worse...at least they didn't give up a shortie!
