  1. Well perhaps it's better they were sub-par tonight vs. against the Av's on Saturday.
  2. Passing is rough tonight....they'll need to be a lot better Saturday against the Av's
  3. Fitzgerald seems to be very active offensively tonight.
  4. Anderson looking sharp. Wonder how many more wins we might have if he was able to stay healthy.
  5. Interesting...depending on the make/model, that much HP can actually work against you. Good brands with just 1/3 or at most 1/2 HP work for most residential applications. A pump can actually be too powerful, causing short cycling which is what can wear out a pump prematurely.
  6. Sometimes a different switch can help reduce the wear and tear on the pump. Better if the switch design allows for more time between cycles and letting your pump run less frequently per minute, hour, etc.
  7. Smart idea....also wise to have a battery backup unit installed as well...never know when you might lose power. I still remember visiting the Buffalo area when the "October Surprise" hit. If that's the case, does that mean they call Anderson "Gramps"?
  8. "Tomer, Skinny and Tuchy".....Anybody know what the guys call Okposo?
  9. IMHO - it would be nice to know if he's been playing 100% healthy or not. If he's been playing with an injury, then we know we haven't gotten his best and it may be worth keeping him around. If he's healthy, but just ineffective, then he may have already peaked.
  10. Wow, that's a lot. Are you expecting somebody new coming to the team at the deadline? I was thinking all departures and no arrivals.
  11. Bad turnover by Team Canada in their zone coupled with a deflected shot by the Canadian defenseman's stick from a dangerous part of the ice. Agree, hard to fault Tomkins on that one. No North American teams in the mix for the medals....thanks Covid!
  12. 1. Yes absolutely! 2. Yes absolutely....maybe JJP too if he's ready to contribute 3. Perhaps the most important IMHO. With so much promising youth, having another high impact vet that is still in his prime could help build the critical mass needed to create a resilient new mindset and winning culture.
  13. That's two in a row, right? Granted it was Montreal and the Isles, but TWO in a row!
  14. Nice seeing what Cozens Krebs can do together....maybe they can get Victor going again finally!
  15. I wouldn't mind seeing him back next year (vs. Bjork, Eakin, etc.)
  16. Unfortunately, Tony M. didn't have the best driving reputation after hitting those hot spots.
  17. Let's hope this gets decided in regulation, otherwise I don't feel confident about a good OT outcome.
  18. Personally, I'd rather see Houser back in net.
  19. Wow....McKegney and Derek Smith in the house...take me back 40+ years!
  20. On what basis (Power playing on the right)? Did you see or hear something? Otherwise, I am not sure it's the best scenario to have 2 offensive minded D playing 5-on-5 together (but I might be too old school) 😉
  21. Old coach mentality probably means that Levi won't start a game now that they are past the prelims. I wonder if Levi was pulled, does he forfeit eligibility for a medal (in case Canada does well)?
  22. Based on yesterday's loss against Team USA, maybe Julien should reconsider who starts in net next game: https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/hockey/olympics-mens-hockey-canada-us-analysis-hall-1.6349561 Bring on Devon!!! Give him a chance!!!
  23. Thanks...I missed that. I know this is a Devon Levi thread, but whoever plays net for the US women's team is going to have to stand on her head for them to beat Team Canada. They look really strong and they seem better at cashing in goals (vs. the US) Back to Devon, I be disappointed if he doesn't get a chance to start...hoping that will change.
