My forbidden list includes Samuelsson as an untouchable (please).

Great...maybe Tkachuk and Stutzle will see bottom 6 playing time and then want to get out of town (to Buffalo)😁

Portillo thinks the Sabres offer a great opportunity

This makes sense to me as well from a salary cap standpoint. We may be okay for a couple of seasons or so, but after that we're going to need cap space for retaining our young core. A shorter-term contract for a decent netminder will hopefully not hurt us later. -
Sabres sign Josh Bloom to His ELC, Will Report to the Amerks on an ATO

Please educate me as I don't know this area at all. If he cannot play in the AHL and he's not ready for the NHL yet, where might he end up playing next season? -
There are so many factors which make a direct comparison difficult. One thing that does come to mind is that Skinner had success with both Jack and Tage. What would be interesting to me is how would Jack play with Skinner and Tuch today and how good he would be. Perhaps getting Stone back may provide some insight as to how Jack plays with a good power forward.

A key difference in my mind is how Jack could control possession during a power play. Stats may prove me wrong, but our PP was better with a healthy Jack. I love Tage's game this year, though.

I'd be willing to wager that Tuch would be at least a 20g player next year. -

OK Claude, I just took this pic of my television with my phone. Here's Curtis "Lanny" Brown for you... -

If that happens, GMKA and the Pegulas are going to have to drill another well. -

Today, they had a close-up on him between periods, where he was facing the camera straight up. I thought, OMG - look at that stache! -

Philly still has a lot of injuries right now where Buffalo is fairly healthy. That being said, IMHO the Sabres have a much better young talent pool vs. theirs. -
IDK, the Wild have one of the best prospect pools in the league right now. Don't forget guys like Rossi and Boldy (among others). They may feel pretty good about their current team and their pipeline already.

I like Fitz as a character guy, but I'd rather see him playing in Rochester right now. -

On another note, has anybody seen Curtis Brown covering the SJ Sharks between periods? He has a Lanny McDonald stache...just darker. -

Did I hear Dan right? "Dustin Tokarski has been extremely professional since....." OK, was he an amateur before that? -

He's certainly a great "poor man's" Jack Eichel....although that will change with his next contract. -
I'd prefer to keep Krebs. Hoping he can be part of our center spine, plus he's younger and cheaper.

Hoping for the same thing. Skinner has been fairly healthy throughout his time here as well....unlike some other high priced long-term contracts. -

I'm guessing we'll see the "tank" version of Philly in the 3rd...we'll know soon.
