A strong feeling of loss....knowing that even a legend must eventually ride into the sunset. We've been transitioning to Dan for a while now, but now I must finally let go.

I hope this is not his final, final game call. My gut tells me he will not return to call a game after tonight. Hopefully he will still be active in the organization in a non-broadcast role.

IDK - but I actually feel that Houser played pretty well for the Sabres in the limited action he had with the big club this season.

Would be nice if he could stay in town a little bit to catch the final game against the Hawks. Somehow I don't envision the Vegas Knight's fanbase creating a long message thread about whether the Sabres' farm team gets into the playoffs or not and start rooting for the Marlies. 😉 Confession, I've never watched the the Knights and most recently Dallas as much as I have these last 2 weeks.

On another note, great game in Nashville, Preds leading the Flames 3-2 early third. Rooting for the Preds as well! EDIT: now tied 3-3

Watching the Star's broadcast. The announcers just jinxed the Stars by showing a graphic that the Stars are 3-0 in similar situations in the past (opportunity to clinch a playoff spot).

Perhaps, but I'd still rather have the option to pick higher. Who knows, maybe a playoff bound team near the bottom may want to trade up for our 2nd 1st rounder and offer something of interest.
