  1. GMKA may have to consider fortifying D man depth via trade. Mule and Boosh play hard, which makes them injury prone (Hope Mule is not a season ending injury). Who knows how long Joki is out. Might have to trade off some prospect assets or an existing forward to ensure we have 6 NHL caliber Dmen.
  2. Calling RJ, Calling RJ....this is an emergency and you're the only person on the planet who can do this!!!
  3. IMHO - I like TT, Tuch and Skinner back together. I'd like to see Cozens on wing with Casey and move Asplund down to center the 3rd line.
  4. Prefer the TT, Skinner and TUCH combination. I'd like to see Donnie keep them together and encourage TT to carry the puck more like last season. Looked like they played together in the 3rd and hope it stays that way. Wondering if Cozens could be more impactful as a power forward like Tuch on another line. Nothing against Victor, but he's a 3rd line player in my lineup.
  5. Part of me still prefers the 1st line from last season....TT, Tuch and Skinner.
  6. The equipment guys need to find Mule some good ol' Craig Ludwig shin guards. Hope they can come up with something to protect our new 7 year investment.
  7. IDK, give the kid a chance. All three are different types of players....apples to oranges.
  8. Possible as Montreal seems to be a better team (on paper) this year with some off-season additions (ex. Monahan, Dach, etc.)
  9. Joki was a bit of a turnover machine IMHO.
  10. Not real far from each other. The "Nat" is downtown north side while the airport is a little ways east just outside the I270 outerbelt. There's a golf course right next to the airport in the landing pattern, so pretty cool some days where the planes approach right over year head. Lived in the Columbus area before moving to Buffalo and agree with 5.5 hours by car.
  11. The other dude wearing a face mask was interesting.....looked like he was amusing himself twirling his stick.🤨
  12. Holy Crap that was some bad camera work
  13. Short-term memory loss here.....did any player from last night's game suit up for this one with CBJ?
  14. It may be one of best Sabre drafts to date. Hoping that we can strengthen the defense pool in the next one.
  15. I am looking forward to being more "entertained" this season!
  16. Wouldn't that be a nice outcome!
  17. Hoping this is indeed the case....a "sturdier" Rasmus is a good thing IMHO. We had another sturdy Rasmus, but that's another story!
  18. $8 or $4...now we can't even buy a beer or soft drink today for that amount 🙂 Love the astro-turf!!!
  19. Yes....and sadly, no RJ to say "Halfway through the period".
  20. Brings back memories of the ol' Orange section on top. Pretty steep angle, but a great view!
  21. Could he be a V. Varada type player with maybe more offensive upside?
  22. I like the signing. Given his success last year, teams may focus their defensive efforts on TT to try and neutralize him in 2022/2023. Hoping the rest of the lines find more of a scoring touch to mitigate this.
  23. No, but hopefully show well enough to convince Levi, Portillo and Johnson to want to sign and be part of an organization that will make the playoffs in 2023-24.
  24. I along with many (not all) fans do not expect this team to make the playoffs, so let's the kids play and develop with the understanding they WILL make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. IMHO there are enough center possibilities on the roster that we have to play them there to see what they can become, ala Tage last year. I know this is a center thread, but I would rather see the team obtain another skilled/fast big power forward who can help our young centers develop faster.
