Looking at the replay of the Calgary shortie goal….not only was the scorer on a breakaway, but the next closest player was also a Calgary Flames…..it was a 2-0. How the f*ck does this happen when you’re on the power play? This is truly a stupid team from a hockey IQ standpoint.

I'd argue that we still are in need of a true number 1C. Maybe TNT can suffice as a 2C. Cozens is not a center and McLeod is a 3C. Kulich IMHO is more of a shooter, not a playmaker.

It doesn’t signal hope…..but rather a comfort level with the status quo (despite the blah-blah from GMKA that he’s always looking to improve the team). I’m not expecting any new player acquisitions this season or any changes in management in the off-season….Pegula doesn’t care.

Agree, there is NOTHING to get excited about this upcoming deadline. No significant additions are coming and it is just a question of what subtractions will happen. Otherwise I don’t expect GMKA to do anything and the talking point will be that they are still trying to make the playoffs this year, which of course is absurd.

And nobody went after him with any aggression after the hit on UPL. Well Kevyn now has his excuses for another failed season.

Would Pegula have the guts to participate in the ceremony? Part of me thinks he wants to avoid the potential embarrassment from fans if he were introduced (vs. watching from the suite). Wouldn’t it be great if the fans shouted in unison to sell the team and fire Kevyn.

JJP is definitely part of the problem and not contributing anything. Maybe some addition by subtraction in terms of having him sit out a game or two? I could be more forgiving if he showed some flash and speed, but he’s been a big nothing burger for a while now.
