What an F’d Up organization!!! Did they forget a guy named Alex Lyon who played pretty well before they gave him a rest….incompetent decision making at a level never seen before in professional sports.

Sorry, but no….he knows enough to understand you have to hire professionals who have a track record of success vs. a bunch of first-time rookies (ex. Murray, Botterill and Adams were never head GM’s before). He also knows you have to spend money (salary cap) vs. trying to save your way to prosperity. What he doesn’t know is how to get out of the way and let true professionals run the team. He thinks he’s part of the solution, but rather is the root of the problem.

That and/or people who will listen to and obey him.

I'm starting to believe that the Tuch situation will evolve into the worst case scenario.....meaning nothing happens at the deadline and he walks away for nothing in return. GMKA may not trade Tuch because he foolishly believes the team can still contend for the playoffs and will therefore hang onto to him at the deadline. Another team will sign Tuch in the off-season and we are left empty-handed. I consider this as Kevyn's parting gift before he gets lynched by the fans....that or Pegula extends or promotes him.

RE: Sabres becoming a playoff team - the REAL issue isn't just the management and staff, but rather the OWNERSHIP. Until ownership changes (I don't think Pegula is capable of change), this team will never be a true cup contender. Sure, he may get lucky some year and make the playoffs, but that's about all we can hope for. Pegula is an egotistical coward, meaning he thinks he's smarter than everybody else but still hides from any accountability himself. HE is the problem.!

Feels like every goal against has been a lack of defensive coverage in front. It's not rocket science, but apparently it is for the Sabres.

IMHO - I’d keep Malenstyn and move Krebs. He’s got spirit, but he lacks talent and isn’t big enough to make a dent physically. Kozak isn’t any bigger, but I think he still is no worse….maybe even better.

Dunne, Rosen and Östlund would be no-brainers, BUT....not so fast now!!! Danforth may also be wondering about his future. I'm frankly not sure Krebs and Quinn deserve to be out there....or even on our roster period.

Plus - someone who is willing to talk with him EVERY DAY!!! Sickening!!!

I wish they kept Bernard-Docker instead. It’s ridiculous they let him walk and chose to overpay Bryson as their first signing objective.
