    This thread made me chuckle - especially the dump part. Poop is funny. Passing on the other guys is less painful to me, especially the guys in later rounds. The Mahomes thing is so "choose your adventure" style. "Do we wanna take the gunslinger from Texas Tech? Nah. Let's get another pick and take a CB." They should just cut him now.

    What's this Boston player's story? A comparable player or two? I think with the Sabres being so non-competitive for so long, I've really lost track of what other young players in our division are doing, etc.

    Yeah. I really need him to get some regular season action and look terrible. I'm watching preseason highlights and seeing a mix of Rodgers and Favre. But that's preseason. GAH. Seriously. If Mahomes were to pan out and be a fun top-10 QB AND then the Bills were to pick a guy in 2018 who ended up flopping -- that would be. That would be a whole new level of fan pain. That's a bit much.

    I will say: I saw the Mahome highlights from last night, and got nervous. He did some really nice things. If he pans out, it is a likely going to be a source of new angst for Bills fans.

    I think he can play with Risto on the "top pair," but I am not overly concerned with this because JBOT and PH are on record, I believe, saying that they don't want Riso anchoring a mega-minute top-pairing this season.

    I just heard one of the "Oklahoma" QBs described as a fantastic college QB who may not translate to the NFL. I think it was Salisbury on PMT, fwiw. Is that Rudolph or the other guy?

    It's funny. I am SO anxious about 1 or all of the top QBs from this past draft panning out. I need them all to fail, spectacularly. Please, Lord.

    I have found jeff willing to trade lightly in some conspiracy stuff, but, on balance, I find that he has real substance underlying his takes. It's been his style and tone with which I have I had a problem at times. And a tendency to over reach at times. But again, on balance: jeff has good information and interesting takes. I'm not far off from this. There's been enough good there, though, for me to push through and appeal to his better angels. Is this being discussed in another thread? Anything serious? Or is this a case of Irish (Polish) flu?

    Oh man - had forgotten that one. As long as our QB pick in next year's draft doesn't get obliterated and ruined, he can probably wait for -- and, really, expect -- a more competent and forward-thinking coordinator to arrive.
