  1. 6 point lead now? With 8 left?
  2. Ya think they're gonna shoot high glove?
  3. Yes! And another PP!
  4. Nice goal by Ennis, I'll allow it. Just one tho.
  5. Loud roar for the Coyotes goal. Watching the ARI feed and they noticed it too. BUF clealry playing like the superior team they are.
  6. some interesting comments from Bill Daly on the lottery process..... http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2015/03/25/sabres-coyotes-draft-lottery-connor-mcdavid-jack-eichel/70459464/ "It has nothing to do with transparency," deputy commissioner Bill Daly told USA TODAY Sports. The NHL has shown a video describing the process on its website, but not many people have watched. Ernst and Young, the accounting firm that vouches for the integrity of trophy balloting, is on hand to make sure the draft lottery is conducted properly. "All of the clubs participating are invited into the room (with the lottery machine)," Daly said. "They used to go, but they have stopped going." The NHL is planning to release video of the lottery machine working because there is so much interest in this year's draft. "You have some fan hysteria," Daly said. "I had an email (recently) from a Buffalo fan saying he wanted to be the Buffalo fan representative to observe the draft lottery. There is no doubt there is a higher focus on this draft."
  7. i may take quick peak at the GDT and be like....
  8. Agreed, I can't cheer against them in the GDT... won't do it. That said, the urge to get completely shitfaced for this game is overwhelming... and it's only 1:30p here.
  9. NHL Game of the Weak
  10. Oil down 3 already, Varlamov yanked, giving up 3 on 7 shots. Half way through the fist.
  11. Oilers down 2 early to the Avs. Avs look terrible, BUF visits them on Sat.
  12. 1000 balls would increase the randomness vs using just 200 balls. ps, i was a maths magor, don't argue with me.
  13. They just need a 1000 ball machine, 200 with Sabres logs, 135 with Coyotes... etc. Actually, I don't mind the 14 ball, 4 ball number and probability chart. It's nice. What I don't like is the fact they keep the drawing a secret and we're just supposed to trust that everything is on the up and up. Why not televise it live? Why not make it available on-demand? WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE!
  14. Nicely done. You're hired Mr. NHL Draft Lottery Commissioner. That said, what really really really really bothers me is the lack of transparency in the lottery process. From what I've been told (by the NHL): "Fourteen balls, numbered 1 to 14, are placed in a lottery machine. The machine expels four balls, forming a series of numbers. The four-digit series resulting from the expulsion of the balls is matched against a probability chart that divides the possible combinations among the 14 participating clubs." So when the numbers start coming up you will know if BUF is still in the running. Why not televise this? Why not make the probability chart public? Or at least make it available on-demand on NHL.com? What are they trying to hide!? WHO IS PICKING THE NUMBERS??!! WHO THE IS PICKING THE GODDAMN NUMBERS AND WHY CAN'T WE WATCH!!!
  15. I, for one, will not rest easy until The Shart is locked up. A few motivational quotes for the Sabres as they enter the final stretch. "The will to prepare is important, but what's more important is the will to fail." - Bobby Knight "I am not afraid, I was born to do this." - Joan of Arc "To be a good winner, is to learn how to lose." - Carl Sandberg "Always give in, and always give up." - Hubert H. Humphrey "If you think you can't do it, you can't." - John Burroughs Yeah, it's almost like they just made it up as they went down the list. "OK let's drop by 1%... good, OK, next, good, OK... wait, hold on, we're gonna run out of numbers, let's drop by 0.5%, OK, good, OK, next, hold on we have too many, let's drop by 1% again, OK, good, next, wait still too many, let's drop by 2.5% now, OK, hold on... wait not enough again, we'll go back to 0.5% OK, good, next...." Here's the way I would do it.... only the bottom 5 qualify for the lottery. Non-Playoff Team (Fewest Pts. to Most) - Draft Lottery Odds 1 - 99.9999% - Sabres 2 - 0.000025% - Coyotes 3 - 0.000025% - Oilers 4 - 0.000025% - Maple Leafs 5 - 0.000025% - Hurricanes
  16. Fact, the nets are smaller in Buffalo.
  17. Please wear the turdburgers on thursaday
  18. Holy ! yeah! Totes with the OT in loss! Woooooooo
  19. Aww yeah!
  20. This is looking like the Stars game the other night. IMO, ARI has this one in the bag, they're experts at late game comeback victories.
  21. that log must be very very very long... i've been watching for over 2 hours and it's still going!

  23. I'm not saying BUF won't improve. They will improve, they'll be better, but you're talking about an improvement for team that is statistically an order of magnitude worse than the next worse team in the league. They'll be better, but that doesn't mean they're not still a bottom 2 team. Let me put it this way, which team(s) are you saying will be worse than BUF? ARI with McEichel? TOR with a new coach minus Kessel? CAR? CBJ? Even with all the additions you mentioned, the Sabres will still have the least talented team in the league.
