GMTM is a scout at heart. IMO he wants an experienced head coach and will give him plenty of leash... So somebody like Babcock would be a perfect fit. And I don't believe for one second that Murray thought this would be a 30th place team after adding some pieces in the off season.

What if Eichel Decides to Return to BU Next Year?

Jack Eichel is not your typical star athlete. Based on his history I expect him to return to BU for one more season. And I'm OK with that. -
You could say the same about ARI and TOR. In fact if you look at the last 2 months of the season, ARI and TOR were hands down tanking worse than BUF did at any point over the past 2 seasons. ARI missed the playoffs by just two points last season.

He looked gassed at the end. PC was hitting him every chance they got and he was getting frustrated even took a penalty. He's 18 playing against 22 year olds (avg age of PC is 22y 1m).
