    It's actually a 78% chance we finish last in the East. Edmonton is 90% to finish last in the West. 0% chance for Buffalo making playoffs, and for chance at Stanley Cup we aren't even listed at 0% like a few other teams...just as "no". :lol: We are the worst! Believe in the shart.

    Yeah that is a bit off, then again you can also buy oil cans of Labatt Blue at Canes games which I always thought was kind of odd too.

    I just received official word that I have tickets for this huge CHL game. I'll be watching from my perch in the Champions club. Is it wrong to take in a CHL 5 bagger from such luxurious digs?

    The shart is the trophy for the CHL champion and what we are striving for. Benoit would be in line for the CHL equivalent of the Norris or Hart but I'm not sure if those were ever officially named. Perhaps it's time for some mid-season CHL awards?

    This was all over my FB feed this morning, many old friends had Lance perform their wedding receptions and were posting pictures. A true Buffalo legend. RIP. Louie's at Elmwood and Hodge? I ate there at least once a week when I worked at Children's Hospital.

    Beautiful. I'll be at the huge CHL tilt here in Carolina this week. All raping, pillaging and baby eating is officially suspended for the 14/15 CHL season.

    Yep. Not sure why fans care so much about Brandon either way. After QB, there are at least a dozen other higher priority things to fix before the marketing guy.

    Thanks SFINS for calling me out as I didn't actually read the poll question. Between 11 and 39 for favorite Sabre, its Gilbert all the way no question. I've changed my vote accordingly.

    I don't have time to search now, but in reference to PA's comment to TBPhd, I disntinctly remember a series of posts before the season began where many of the ardent tank supporters went on record saying that while the hope is McEichel many of us wouldn't be crying with a top five pick either.

    With so many teams in the running I'll go with not likely, but not impossible. Playoffs are closer to impossible than the shart is. Therefore tank.

    This is one the most tired strawmen out there. Who here is saying it is/was the only option? Seriously, I don't recall anyone ever arguing that.

    i didn't read the article because quite frankly I'm sick of the debate. Both sides are constantly throwing up the same old tired strawmen nearly two years into this thing. For a few more months I will strongly support the tank and anyone who thinks that makes a bad fan can go fukc themselves.

    Same here. When the chips fall where they may it's over for me and the tank. At that point I will begin looking forward to building a strong team year in and year out with whatever we have on hand. But for the next few months I will remain laser focused on the Shart and will offer no apologies for doing so. If, however, McEichel ends up here in Carolina I can make no promises about how much I'll rant about that. I'll be extremely pissed off if that comes to pass. If it's not meant to be for Buffalo, please hockey gods I implore you, send McEichel out west.
