  1. I had the pleasure of enjoying an incredible beer this past weekend. Silencio from Wicked Weed. A soured black ale aged in bourbon barrels and brewed with coffee and vanilla. Every part of that complex mingling of ingredients, wood and yeast came through in aroma, flavor or both. Absolutely fantastic. http://wickedweedbrewing.com/silencio-release/
  2. I think it's actually a blonde ale, but I think the yellow lager / light ale profile is exactly what they were going for in terms of mass appeal.
  3. And in a league that tries to promote parity at every turn, it's teams like Buffalo, Cleveland and Detroit that are done no favors being victims of unintentional officiating bias. I'm convinced these types of teams get screwed more often simply because of who they are and have been for so long, not as a result of some grand conspiracy. Of course there are also internal problems with all these franchises that don't help either, but when the games are as close as they are and can turn on a single play, these are the teams that can least afford the inconsistent calls and flat out screw ups from the refs. It seems as though only an overwhelming talent infusion and/or a unprecedented season long string of good fortune is likely to turn things around. The Bills of course have even less tolerance for bias and errors, starting every year behind the 8 ball at 0-2 in the division and conference before they even play a single down.
  4. Because Cleveland, Because Detroit, Because Buffalo.
  5. Since your original point referenced Brady specifically, you know the GOAT. Then yes I am.
  6. Most QBs picked at the top of the draft can't hold Bradys jock. Dumb luck.
  7. Agreed, and for the Bills to get a Brady like QB coming to the rescue would be relying on dumb luck, just like the Patriots.
  8. It's more than a QB even, although that would certainly go a long way. Rotten culture, deep pervasive ineptitude, and the perception of the Bills as "the Bills" all over the league (read: officials) needs to be overcome. That requires overwhelming talent to erase, like we had 88-94.
  9. Vince Lombardi couldn't coach the Bills to the playoffs at this point. Pegula "meddling" to any extent is inconsequential.
  10. I love how PA swoops in with his Pegula hate. The Bills situation is so beyond Pegula.
  11. It's beyond ownership, new GMs or coaches. 16 years means something. Dumb luck is the only way out.
  12. So a local favorite NC watering hole has One Buffalo on tap, but not having an official handle they improvised over a Pumpking handle.
  13. I know I'm a pussified fan and all that, but Bills, playoffs and coasting taken together is Jim Mora worthy stuff.
  14. Happy Thanksgiving from the man cave. In laws inside. Beer and football outside. I'm thankful.
  15. Because it would have been a TD if not for the whistle! <_< Only the NFL can make an officiating gaffe worse by first making the wrong call in relation to the original mistake and then making up a penalty on top of it to further penalize the same team.
  16. Boston Globe article outlining the major officiating gaffes last night. The NFL just cant have this nonsense going on in what seems like every damn game.
