It's really not about any individual candidate for me when getting outside the two teams; pretty much anyone else running on a reasonable platform I'm for if it can help to eventually move us past having to pick our poison every four years. We just watched Donald Trump in a presidential debate. Donald effing Trump. I'm not going to pretend that only reflects poorly on the Republican party, as far as I'm concerned the Democrats shoulder a big part of the blame for where this country is and creating the uber partisan political climate that allowed for him to stand on that stage last night. Yuck. So.....as I see it do we continue on our current path and the slow agonizing death that Hillary represents or full on Kevorkian with Trump? I'll take the miracle shot of early stage research therapy that GJ represents.

The Trump of a few months ago I could see not shaking Hillary's hand, but his people have him reigned in now. Hillary choosing not to shake his hand? Snowballs chance in hell that she would hand him the night on a silver platter like that. Invite Gary Johnson and have him not shake hands with either of them.

Sounds very similar to a situation at my old company that was ongoing for over a year. I had multiple conversations and emails with people in our purchasing department trying to rectify a returned order and it was still unresolved at the time I resigned. I'm certain that they are still trying to contact me even though I left six months ago. This was one of my biggest complaints working for a big corporation, probably 30- 50% of my weekly time was spent in activities such as this as opposed to being in the lab doing what they hired me to do.

This Sunday is my annual trip home for a Bills game. As usual I'm looking forward to the pub crawl Saturday night, tailgating on Sunday morning and the post game bonfire at my buddy's place far more than I am the game itself. In fact I may go full on Chet and Muffy and just stay at the bar inside the Jim Kelly club so I can more easily monitor the other games that I'll likely be betting on.
