Not that I believe Romney is the answer, but to me those results only demonstrate further that Obama is the wrong choice too.

I think that was part of his whole strategy. He knew Obama was going to attempt to paint him as the second coming of Bush the war monger, instead he just held on and allowed no room for that to happen. This was the only debate I watched more than 10 minutes of, but I though it was pretty lackluster from both candidates as well.

They have the divider between the urinals here at my work, but still some people just don't get it. A simple "hello" isn't even acceptable when standing next to someone at the urinal. edit. Reminded me of this urinal game.. Some tough scenarios there.. Congrats!

I don't see how that observation was demeaning at all. Every Obama supporter who commented criticized it, every Romney supporter who commented, liked it, and who would have expected otherwise? I believe the partisan lenses are much more powerful than anyone's ability to step back and take those speeches for what they are. Just because you and LastPommerFan (and some others) are able to engage in honest discussion from opposite sides of the aisle, it doesn't mean that this thread, like most of the electorate, isn't full of partisan sniping.

We received a Buffalo theme glassware set as a gift from Jenns. This is similar to what we have but not exactly. Well I'm still here. I sauteed the 'shrooms with some onion, garlic and olive oil. They really DO taste like chicken, with a little bit of nutty flavor in the background. Very tasty. :thumbsup:

Actually, no. I did graduate from UB, but this happened at another SUNY institution before I transferred there. Perhaps this barrage of soiled toilet seats at institutions of higher learning is not all that uncommon across the nation? Another problem this practice causes is the phantom occupied stall. When someone is squatting on the seat with the door locked it gives the appearance of the old lock the stall and climb out prank is being played. This bombardier guy finally wised up and would leave his flip flops on the floor of the stall when he was doing his business so people would know he was in there.

If you read that link it does say that this particular mushroom is one of the "foolproof four" that novices can easily identify. It also says that a similar species that grows on conifers can be toxic,but my co-worker did say when we started that we needed to get deeper into the woods and away from all the pines, so that makes me feel better about his level of expertise. We found these on a fallen oak tree so I'm no so concerned about my health, I'm more interested to find out if they really do taste like chicken as advertised.

A co-worker of mine is a mushroom hunter / expert and often talks about all the great edible mushrooms he finds out in the woods near his home. It's a beautiful fall day here in NC and he asked me to go on a mushroom hunt in RTP during our lunch hour. We hiked around the woods for a half hour and were about to give up until we came across some chicken of the woods mushrooms We were able to harvest about 6 lbs of these, and I took some home to cook for dinner tonight. Awesome.
