Everyone should get the shot. Other than having an egg allergy or a few other rare medical conditions or circumstances, there is no good reason not to get vaccinated every year.

It could be much worse, so far according to the CDC there haven't been any reports of strains popping up showing resistance to nueraminidase inhibitors (tamiflu). If those strains begin to circulate, things could rapidly deteriorate into a pandemic situation.

It ain't hype my friend. When you get the flu, I promise you that you won't be saying that. A full blown case of the flu is nasty, nasty business.

Be careful, that one in particular is going to cause trouble. At one post game tailgate after the Sabres won a down here a few years ago I was high fiving some Sabres fans as they walked by our area, and one of them said something similar to what you have here. One of my friends immediately jumped the guy. Luckily, both of them were about 150 lbs max so I was able to play peacemaker, but I'll tell you that Earnhardt comment really struck a nerve. When the canes fans start going with the Bills super bowl comments, I tend to just ask them questions about the Panthers, who they of course know nothing about because they are by and large team swapping whores. And honestly, the Bills have been bad for so long that those comments really don't bother me at all anymore.

Agreed. Plus, if I remember correctly, Brennan played and excelled at lacrosse in high school. Lacrosse players in general are some gritty and wild mofos.

Switched last year from RBC Center to PNC arena.

One of the few nice things I have to say about the Canes/PNC arena is that bbq stand. It's the best stadium / arena food I've ever had by a mile.

It probably wasn't so much of a factor this year with the short schedule and it's limitations, but It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Canes have requested in recent years that Buffalo games not be on weekends The pillaging hordes get larger and come from farther away when it's a weekend game.

I haven't decided yet, if one of my contacts come through with free tickets then I'll probably go.
