  1. Sadly, I believe that you are correct. However, Pegula has to seriously look at the honest question posed to Ruff in the post game last night about the fans hating this team and what they bring to the rink each night. We have arrived at the point where the majority of fans actually HATE this team right now. Hockey heaven indeed.
  2. Its well beyond the point where any of this stuff is going to make a bit of difference. This is a bad hockey team.
  3. Just turned on RJ. Shocked by the early Peg goal. Shocked. <_<
  4. Very true, but also a great craft beer scene. Lots of great micros and brewpubs in and around Asheville, plus you have all the touristy stuff with the Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway. Most people in Raleigh prefer to hit the beach for their vacations, but I'll take the NC mountains any day over those overcrowded beaches.

I'm going to go way out on a limb and agree with you on this one.
  6. I live in Raleigh, but I've traveled out to Asheville and Charlotte a lot. What area are you interested in?
  7. This guy picks up an injured bald eagle on the side of the road and drives it to a wildlife rescue. It was a cool thing to do, but I also can imagine a scene out of Tommy Boy coming out of this. link with pic of bald eagle car passenger. http://www.wral.com/...eagle/12112602/
  8. I haven't, and I imagine it would be nice, but I have come to terms with the near certainty that I'll be worm food long before having the opportunity to celebrate a Buffalo world championship.
  9. Yes, except these guys are actually top notch musicians, which to me makes the whole gag even funnier. They parody the ###### rock/ hair metal craze of the 80's.
  10. I'll be washing and sanitizing kegs while listening to RJ.
  11. Hey they may not be so inappropriate after all... Yo ye pharoahs, let us walk Through this barren desert, in search of truth And some pointy boots, and maybe a few snack crackers. Who's in charge here? where's my Captain's wafers? Don't go around hungry now.... Camel Walk was a minor hit for them, but for this Sabres team a far more appropriate SCOTS intro song would be "Ditch Diggin' " IMO.
  12. Same here, my wife finally noticed that I haven't been spending many evenings out in my man cave these days. She asked me the other day as I was working on the computer with RJ on in the background why I wasn't out there watching the game. When I told her that I canceled Center Ice her jaw nearly hit the floor.
  13. My neighbor sent this to me the other day, SP featuring Corey Taylor of Slipknot. NSFW due to language and excessive boob flashing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eITymGJLq4s
  14. Nice, I'm going to the Raleigh show in May. Probably going to take my son.
  15. While that's an obvious need, I'll go one step further. I will not be drawn in by the Bills again until the last second ticks off the clock in a playoff clinching win. This franchise has proved to be too inept for far too long for me to invest much more than that in them.
  16. This captures my feelings exactly. There can't be more than a handful of Sabres fans left who don't know that it's well past time.
  17. I don't think he said that he is turning in his fan card.
  18. The author of this book just posted a link over at TSW, it's a mob novel that takes place in Buffalo. I just finished a book last night so I'm going to dive into this one next given the glowing reviews on Amazon. Plus it's free for Kindle owners. http://forums.twobil...ller-on-amazon/
  19. Agreed. There are way more pressing needs and concerns than worrying about Ryan Miller.
