  1. Havent made my bet this month. At 555. 160 on Les Habitants.
  2. They got it half right in that episode when they said they needed antibiotics for what appeared to be a viral outbreak, but then later on when Daryl was looking at the list of supplies and he couldn't pronounce one of them, it was "zanamivir" which actually is a flu antiviral.
  3. I'll second the Nexus 7. My kids use an iPad, but I prefer the nexus 7.
  4. This brings up another good point to ponder as some people are more tied to the team identity through the logo, nickname or uniform. If the Bills moved why would Toronto or any other city keep the logo of a charging buffalo or the nickname that is tied to it?
  5. Same here, otherwise I would have quit following this sorry loser franchise a long time ago. But being born a Buffalo fan also requires that the team is actually still called the Buffalo Bills, and plays the majority of it's home games in WNY. Once that is gone, they have turned off the fan spigot for me and there is no way I could just turn it back on for some other team, hence the NFL goes the way of the dodo for me.
  6. Yes, the NFL would become irrelevant to me just like the NBA already is. College football would be fine.
  7. Nope. The "Bills" and the NFL would be dead to me.
  8. True, but 90% of that 95% probably never heard about it in the first place.
  9. Awesome. I've seen Blue Rodeo a bunch of times over the years. I even caught them down here in Chapel Hill a few years back. I hadn't heard about the new album, I'll need to pick that up.
  10. Nice. A friend and I have a rather stupid ritual of doing a goldschlager and franks hot sauce shot every time we are at a certain watering hole. Thankfully it's in NY and I don't find myself there very often these days.
  11. it was needed because why would the White House need to obfuscate and create a scandal around Al-Quaeda murdered Spaniards in Libya?
  12. Not going there, you should know the difference.
  13. You are correct major was a poor choice of words in terms of how the media has covered them, but with IRS and Benghazi scandals they certainly are scandals where the administration has purposely misled the public. In regard to Benghazi specifically, which involved murdered Americans, it rises above the level of lying about a BJ. But thats just me. Obamacare isn't even a scandal at all, instead its a complete disaster that was intended to be the cornerstone of the Obama legacy. For full disclosure, I haven't voted D or R in the past three presidential elections, nor will I vote D, R or incumbent in any election for as long as I draw breath.
  14. I'm not so sure about that. Sure it is a short list if your point is that all politicians are lying weasels on some level, but to have three major scandals so closely packed together where no one of consequence has been held accountable in any case is pretty rare air for Obama right now.
  15. I haven't read anything and know absolutely nothing about this yet, but given this administrations recent track record... What difference, at this point, does it make? / Benghazi A few rogue agents in Cincinnati / IRS audit scandal If you like your plan, you can keep it. Period. / Obamacare I think I might take a little pause before I blow this off as a right wing media witch hunt and blindly take the White House at their word on this.
  16. Some new craft beer projects in Buffalo. Support your local breweries! http://www.buffalone...garden-20131118 And a nice quote from my old friend Tim Herzog of Flying Bison..
  17. A question about the failings of our current president before someone points out the failings of a previous one. That took all of what? two minutes? The more things change...
  18. We'll call it even for the season given the gift go ahead TD they were awarded on the last play of the Saints game. But overall, last night doesn't even begin to bring it close to even in regard to beneficial calls/non-calls for the Patriots over the years. Not even close. http://www.canalstre...-junior-galette
  19. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale...$12 for a 12 pack at the local Harris Teeter. Great deal on an awesome brew.
  20. Glad to hear things worked out, the exact same thing happened to my wife a few weeks ago with the call for a repeat. She is in the medical field herself so she is able to navigate the waters of medical obfuscation better than most, but it still makes for an anxiety filled day.
  21. I just did the reverse. My company had a charity fundraiser where they put "bounties" on beards. My bounty level was reached so I had to shave my goatee, and now my wife won't let me grow it back!
  22. This is why I'm not so on board with bringing Nolan back. PR wise it will be a ###### storm if they let Nolan go again after such a short stint.
