    On NHL radio they were talking about how Tarasenko's shot was the hardest to read in the league. Most players slide the lower hand down a bit before shooting. Tarasenko shoots with both hands high on the stick, which doesn't let the goalie know when the shot is coming.

    The style that Babcock has the Leafs playing is horrible to watch as a fan. Basically the defensive philosophy is to smother anyone with the puck. When someone receives a pass, defenders are taught to skate directly at him. When he releases the puck and tries to get by, hold him up in a manner that is just below the threshold to draw a penalty. The end-result is boring, uber-defensive hockey. The Leafs - Preds game was one of the worst games I've ever watched live.
