Roman Josi leads all NHL defensemen is road points, leads the Preds in points (21), and is 2nd in the NHL in blocked shots. Dude is a star. BTW - Josi went 38th overall in the 2008 draft in which we took Tyler Myers 12th overall. (Bogo was third overall in that draft) ;)

To all the mixed advice I'll reiterate that land is an appreciating asset and a structure is a depreciating asset. Those with horror stories almost certainly live in areas where the land value is not suitably appreciating due to a stagnant economy, low growth rates, excess housing supply, etc. I'm in full agreement with them. In those areas, absolutely think twice about buying, especially if it is an older home that requires a lot of maintenance. But, in high growth areas if you time the market properly it can be a great investment. I'm making a killing on my current home due to appreciation in the local real estate market here. Best investment I've ever made. Bio - Denver is a top-5 real estate investment market w/ year-over-year price increases of around 13%. If you ever decide to buy out there let me know. I moved to Nashville from Colorado (my screen name used to be COSabre).

Neal got hit across the throat by the follow-through of the goalie. But, follow-throughs are not high sticking. It was a reputation call on Neal, pure and simple. Last game he got one as well, which was one of the worst embellishment calls I've ever seen. Once you get the reputation as a diver you have a target on your back (Derek Roy comes to mind).

So, the positives from this game were.... uh... none. It was bad. All bad. G'night all.

People have been bashing him here, but Ennis has skill on the puck that few of our forwards have.

Franson just might be the slowest player in the league. He has to be the slowest defenseman. IMHO, we need another stud defenseman to go with Risto. Fortunately, this draft should have some good defense prospects.

He has done a nice job of revamping the forwards. But, we're still very average in defense and goal (injuries not withstanding). He needs to fix the backend next IMHO.

I watched the Preds - Bruins game before this one and both teams were going all-out on every shift. It is very noticable that the pace of this game is much slower than that one. We're not playing hard. Tired, I guess.

I see no reason to watch the third. This team is just going through the motions tonight. BTW - we're only a few points from the bottom of the NHL standings. This roster still has a long way to go.

He really hasn't been good in his own zone as of late.

We're not talented enough to overcome bad penalties and lackadaisical play. We need to play gay porn hard in the 2nd and 3rd.
