All-American and SEC player of the year. I watched Alabama a lot this year and Ragland is relentless and nasty.

Nkemdiche or Lawson would be great. Both can play end in a 3-4. Nkemdiche was the #1 player in the nation coming out of high school. (Conklin just got drafted by Tennessee at #8 - good pick for my local team)

I agree. Fowler was really, really good in the series. I think the fact that he was always on the ice perhaps makes him a scapegoat for Ducks fans, who seem pretty clueless in general. He played over 27 minutes in Game 7. He led the Ducks in ice time this year and they gave up the fewest goals in the NHL. He plays in all situations. Sami Vatanen and Hampus Lindholm are both RFAs and both due for big pay increases. That may make Fowler expendable. I can't comment on his regular season play other than the few Ducks games I saw, but Fowler was really good in the playoffs on the top pair. He led the Ducks in ice time and what stuck me about his play was how calm he was on the puck in his own end. He didn't make the "panicky" plays when pressured. He really protected it well in his own zone and made good outlet passes IMHO.

Cam Fowler was really impressive during the playoffs. That guy would be a fantastic pick-up if Murray can pry him away from the Ducks.

I watched every game in the series, three of them in person. McGuinn was very good the entire series. He was mostly on the 4th line (with Chris Stewart) but scored two goals and hit a couple of posts.

I'm excited to see two or three more live playoff games! My seats are some of the best in the house (front row club level just to the right of the TV cameras). Go Preds!

Getzlaf and Perry have been pretty awful this series. The Ducks are being carried by Perron, Kessler, McGuinn and their solid d-corp.

If he is there when we draft, I'd be very happy with the pick. I've thought for a while now that the era of the true stay-at-home defenseman is gone. We need more skill in our defense corp IMHO.

Weak call on James Neal. But, he has a reputation with the refs (not unlike Perry's reputation).
