    Kind of like the Devils game, these refs are allowing guys to get mugged away from the puck.

    Kulikov and Franson were coughing the puck up left and right that period. Why we traded for Kulikov I'll never know.

    A big part of the reason we don't score more goals is beyond Risto and to a lesser extent Franson & McCabe, our defensemen contribute nothing offensively. They can't shoot, they don't pass well, and they generally lack puck skill. Gone are the days of the "defensive defenseman"... Bogosian (team worst -13), Kulikov (second worst on the squad at -8), and Gorges all need to go. Fedun can go too. I'd throw Gio a one year contract since he is still playing at a high level. And, I'm not sold on RFA forwards Larsson, Girgs and Foligno... I'd probably let Larsson walk.

    Too bad we're not in the Western Conference. We dominate those teams (other than Chicago) and lose to teams in the East.
