Not exactly a goaltending clinic. Some weak ones in either direction. -

This game turned into a track meet. Goals all over the place. -

The Ducks are running around the ice trying to throw big hits... maybe they should worry more about getting a shot or two on goal. -

James Neal with the layup. 2-0 Preds in a dead arena! I'll be sporting a James Neal jersey at games 3 & 4 on Tuesday and Thursday. -

So many empty seats in Anaheim. I get that traffic is always an issue out there. But... -

New Orleans doesn't even have minor league hockey. Nice OT win for the Preds! -

I need a Preds win since I have playoff tickets (got games 3, 4, and 6 of this series) and I want a chance to go to a Cup final in person. That and I'm moving to New Orleans in July so this is my last shot after 8 years of season tickets in Nashville. Go Preds! -

Nashville dominated the play early so as per usual the Ducks resorted to thugging it up and cheap shots. -
Yep. Phil is ready. 50 years old.

Saw Gojira and Opeth last night. First time seeing Opeth live. Really, really good. Opeth is one of only bands I can think of that legitimately defies labels and genres.

These Preds playoff games are so much fun to be at. The crowd is absolutely electric. Standing ovations through many of the TV timeouts. Been to many Preds playoff series, but this just feels different... BTW - there is no better defenseman in the NHL right now than Ryan Ellis.
-
Several good candidates on the list. I'd like Fenton since the Preds player development is second to none. But there are many good choices. It does seem that we're obsessed with the city of Pittsburgh (both football and hockey)...
-
So we switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3... then we load up on linebackers late in the draft? Guess we're drafting special teamers at this point.
-
Meh. We're picking ACC guys who I've seen play a ton of times (am a VT season ticket holder). Peterman is okay, I guess. Another body in training camp.
-
Not a fan of this pick. Not at all. Edit: this pick has special teams written all over it
-
If we want another WR in this draft, my guy Isaiah Ford should be available in the 5th. Kid ran a slower than expected 40 time at the combine but has great hands and lives, eats, and sleeps football. Tyrod is probably pushing for him (both VT guys).
-
Zay Jones is the real deal. Trading up to get him is a great move. The kid catches everything. I've seen him play several times (ECU plays VT every year) and if it anywhere near him, he'll catch it.158 catches for 1746 yards as a senior, which is just ridiculous. Don't know anything about the Temple kid though. Hope he can block.
-
There are a lot of good WR available in Rounds 2 & 3. If Smith-Schuster is there at #44 he'd be a good pick. Zay Jones would be a great pick too. He comes down with every 50/50 ball and has the NCAA record for most career catches.
-
I've seen White play in person twice and he can cover. No doubt about that. And, getting a 1st next year plus a 3rd this year in addition to a corner, which we probably would have taken anyway, makes a lot of sense. All picks are gambles and bad teams need as many new players as possible - trading down is a strangely rational decision coming from the Bills front office. McDermott wants character guys and guys who play well on film instead of "workout wonders" with the infamous "upside." I'm onboard. Edit: I now see that I typed pretty much exactly what Jerry Sullivan wrote... strange for me to agree with him to this extent.
-
I like this pick. This kid can play.
-
Reuben Foster will be a steal for someone.
-
Saints need defense, defense, and more defense. I hope they get good in a hurry... I'm moving to New Orleans this summer!
-
Yeah, because it'll give our new GM next year two first rounders!
-
Been following this organization long enough to know there is a high probability we'll do something stupid. :D
-
Can get a good tight end anywhere in the draft - some of the best of all-time weren't first rounders. I'd go CB since none have been picked as of yet.
