I feel the same way. At least the Bills are showing signs of getting better. They get rid of players who just don't have it (Trent, Marshawn, Ellis, etc.). The Sabres are on a slow downward spiral to nowhere with this roster. If ever a big trade was needed, it is now... but Darcy doesn't have the balls to pull it off.

Lalime wasn't bad by his standards, but that third goal winning goal was one that Miller would have stopped. Better effort, but this team just doesn't have the horses to compete this year.

There is no way in hell Montador should be our best defenseman. He, like most of these guys, is a career journeyman... a #5 or #6 d-man. All of the best teams have a shutdown top pair that play in all situations and hog ice time. We have a regressing Myers paired with who? Monty, Morrisonn, Leopold, Rivet are all journeymen... Butler and Sekera don't look like anything special... I just don't understand the logic of assembling this bunch of craptastic d-men.
