Preds are the anti-Sabres. No matter who they put on the ice, the effort is consistent and they are always sound defensively. A playoff team year-in-and-year-out. Oh and you know Mike Fisher of the Preds... although down here he is Mr. Carrie Underwood. :P

We had almost as many shots that period (13) as we had in the entire Islanders game!

This is the first game I can remember in a long time where Lindy is just rolling all 4 lines. I really like that strategy. I think some of our defensive breakdowns this year have been due to tired forwards.

Those lines seem reasonable, although I'd rather see McCormick-Hecht-Kaleta as the 4th line (no Scott and his 4 minutes of ice time).

How about if Stafford, the $4 million ghost, actually scores a goal... that'd sure help this team.
