There is a big, fairly new arena sitting idle in North Little Rock. It mostly gets used for monster truck shows, country music shows, and rodeos. :D

:o I do think the appeal of WNY is very different for hockey players versus football players. I don't think Buffalo is a tough sell for hockey players... good family town, affordable, close to Southern Ontario, etc. A ton of ex- players live in the area. But, I do think the Bills struggle to attract free agents is somewhat predictable.

You have no idea how happy it would make me to see Pommer traded (although I don't think Darcy would trade him). I like his scoring, but don't like anything else about his game. It is time to change the culture of this team... trading the Captain is one way to move in that direction...
