I do think a top-3 pick has become a bit of an obsession for some, to the point where you'd think those three are guaranteed to be future hall-of-famers... and every other player in the draft will be worthless. I find it hard to believe there won't be difference makers in the draft outside of the top-3.

6 wins in the past 8 games with 6 different Sabres scoring the game winning goal. On paper this team should be horrible, but they're playing hard and showing some much needed mental toughness.

The Rangers play all crappy teams in their last 6 (Buffalo, NJ 2, Carolina, Florida 2), while the Sabres have to go to Pittsburgh on Saturday. The Rangers would have to completely fall apart down the stretch to not make the playoffs. But, what the hell, GO SABRES!

I'm just happy that we have another meaningful game to watch. And, I like that we're at least making the Rangers sweat a bit.
