This comment perhaps doesn't belong in the GDT, but Buffalo has without a doubt the worst arena music (during stoppages in play) of any arena in the NHL. Who is picking those awful songs? ...and why are they still employed?

Jhonas is playing really well again. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to Jhonas and Hackett being the goaltenders next year if Miller wants out. At least we'd know if Jhonas could handle the #1 duties by this time next year.

Why ya gotta ruin my anti-Pommer rant. :D When I look at the top Western conference teams, they tend to be big, physical, nasty teams. To me, the Wild don't seem to be built like those other teams.

Not necessarily true. Depending on how you slice and dice the season, Minnesota was 8-3 in the 11 games prior to Pommer's arrival and 3-6 since getting him. The general point being, if you're going to trade two top prospects plus a first and a second rounder, you'd generally want the guy you trade for to be a difference maker. Pommer's numbers look good, but the Wild continue to lose.... Sounds a whole lot like the Sabres these past couple of years. Wild vs. Kings on Tuesday night is a big one.

The Wild have been in free fall since getting Pommer. They have a tough one against the Kings on Tuesday. If they lose that one, they might be in trouble. We need Columbus and Dallas to win tonight to really make this a tight playoff race!

The game is at Minnesota too! Wild fans have to be pissed. They can't afford to blow this game.

That really seems to be the case. There was the "must win" Florida trip where we lost both. The "must win" at Winnipeg where we got spanked. The "must win" versus Montreal at home where the team was completely embarrassed. And, now this "must win" which is the worst embarrassment of them all.

NFL or NHL? Who the Bills gonna pick on Thursday night? :P

The good news is there is no reason to watch the rest of this debacle. The news coverage of the bomber > this horrendous mess of a game.
