  1. The Rangers played hard and threw everything they could at 'em, but the Kings just have more talent. Monster game for Quick.
  2. The Rangers need some guys with Canadian names. Like Stu or Gord or Colin or Lanny. That'd help them.
  3. Quick is "on" tonight. He is moving and seeing the puck really well.
  4. The Rangers are all over them, but none of that matters if they can't put the puck in the net. On another note, anyone know how much tickets for this game were going for?
  5. I'm all for making a billion dollars... but I certainly won't start dating 10 year olds when I do. ;)
  6. Kings win again in OT. The Captain Brown with the tip.
  7. Great game, but I'm getting tired. Hope someone scores soon.
  8. Stoll definitely had something to say to Lundquist there. ;)
  9. Where is Rick Nash? For a guy who makes a ton of money and is supposed to be a "superstar," 3 goals in 21 playoff games just isn't getting it done. (maybe he'll score in OT)
  10. The third goal was probably interference, but it was a judgment call that we've seen go either way this season.
  11. Gaborik. Wow. The Kings just never die. They're like cockroaches.
  12. Very costly too many men on the ice penalty for the Kings.
  13. Anyone watching? I missed the early part of the 1st (was watching USA soccer vs. Nigeria), but the Kings look like they had pretty much the same first period as in Game 1.
  14. Knock 'em dead, kid! http://youtu.be/nGUKtC5-WBo
  15. We think alike in this regard. And, I think Big Tyler could get us a pretty good return in trade. I like the Deutschland Dangler!
  16. It is unpopular on this board, but I'd take Ekblad. Big, physical and can skate and shoot. The rational for "best player available" is it opens up trade options. I'm also in the clear minority in that I don't want a cerebral, play making non-physical center (Reinhart). I see him as a slightly better CoHo. IMHO, we need size and physicality up front to compete with the big boys. The Kings' smallest forward is 6'1 190 (Justin Williams) and he is gritty as hell. Their entire roster, for the most part, is guys over 200 lbs. and all of those guys are capable of playing a physical rough-and-tumble game without getting worn down. If Murray really wants to pattern the team after the Kings then we need big forwards who can possess the puck and forecheck with reckless abandon. For that reason, I like Draisaitl and (to a lesser extent) Bennett over Reinhart.
  17. I did enough time in D.C. to know that there is usually more to the story than what is generically reported by the press (e.g. tracking devices on the Taliban prisoners).
  18. Regehr should be healthy enough to play by Game 3. I hope he at least gets to play in one finals game. Not sure who he would replace though. It'd be tough for Sutter to mess with the lineup at this point.
  19. No goalie would have stopped that shot. Perfect placement.
