I'm surprised to see a 6 page GDT. More people watching than I might have thought.

There are many close plays on passing downs that could or could not draw a flag. The league sees to it to always give Brady the benefit of the doubt. Yet, the other team doesn't ever seem to get the same 50/50 calls. And, it has happened over such a sustained period of time that it is no longer just coincidence. It's just too one-sided. A single flag on the Patriots all game long?! That said, the Jags had shots and didn't step up when the game mattered. Brady made plays and Bortles wilted under the pressure. Personally, I'd love to see Eli Manning in Jacksonville next year.

Yeah, from my perspective we have an entire defense corp that isn't a threat to score goals. And, we have two lines (3&4) that pretty much can't score goals. That makes us easy to defend. We have one really dangerous player - Jack. Put your top defenders out there against Jack and we don't have much secondary scoring to worry about. Folks can blame Phil all they want, but IMHO this roster is terrible.

Watching the Preds - Panthers game and the Preds play every shift like it's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. The building is absolutely rocking. End-to-end action. It's what we haven't seen in Buffalo in years. ...reminds me of the Drury/Briere days when we were such an exciting team to watch. *sigh*

Terrible drafting year-over-year (with the exception of Eichel and any one of us on this board could have made that pick) has done this team in. Pissing away a first round pick for Lehner is criminal. Always drafting forwards (i.e., not learning anything from the Oilers drafts over the past decade) has been a killer. We drafted Risto & Zadorov then traded Nikita. He's now playing 20 minutes per night in Colorado and is only 22. The comment above that the pieces just don't fit together is exactly right. There is no rhyme or reason to this roster. What are we trying to be? Speed team? Heavy team? Defense-first team? Young team? Veteran team? Win with goaltending? What is the identity we're going for?

I didn't like his game the first time around. Too soft. Too finesse. I'm not happy that we brought him back. If we wanted a veteran presence at wing, I think we should have just kept Gio for another year.

Good list. The only one I'm indifferent about is McCabe. But, I think our other d-men are so bad he probably seems better than he really is. The players on this team just don't stack up against pretty much any other NHL roster.

Gonna take an iron crotch to watch the third period of this game...

I gotta admit. Bylsma wasn't as terrible of a coach as we all thought. He got this crap roster to at least be semi-competitive.

I guess if you're this bad at hockey you can at least punch a guy or two in the face. ;)

Jesus. This team is unwatchable. NHL Center Ice was wasted money this season... and last season... and...

Aubameyang scores a ton of goals for Dortmund but he also blows more chances than most "world class" strikers.

Kid probably weighs about 170 lbs. A little more strength might help?

The can go back for the AHL playoffs. I see no reason why they shouldn't get a few NHL games in over the next couple of months. edit: one reason stated above
