Anyone on here going to the Sabres game today?

As with most games, the real question is: Will we score a goal today? 38 shots on goal the last 3 games combined (10, 14, 14).

Heard some stuff about the latter from a friend who works for the Preds. Not everyone has a high opinion of Patrick. I was told he is basically everyone's "drinking buddy." Not sure of the truth of that, of course. My thought on a GM is any one of us on this board could put together a terrible team and then we could all figure out that we should draft McEichel 1st or 2nd overall. A trained monkey could do that. Pegula could do that himself and save a GM's salary. Personally, I'd like to see a little more thoughtfulness out of Murray at this point. Dumping players for picks isn't difficult. "Tanking" is easy. I need to see some of his personnel moves pay off before I buy in to Murray as being the right guy for the job. So far, Meszaros, Benoit, Gionta, Strachan, and McCormick just aren't doing it for me... although I do like the Moulson signing, even though he has been terrible thus far this year. Crosby is untouchable since he is a marketing gem for the league. Weber was penalized for giving a clean check to Cindy Crosby. Totally ridiculous.

I like a guy like Grigo getting some time in Rochester, if only for a half season or so. But, some of our guys have more than paid their dues in the AHL. In particular, Larsson and Pysyk and to a lesser extent Rudy probably should be on the big club.

Yeah, seems we're so fantastically outmatched this season, what would it hurt? Unlike Samson, Zadorov is physically ready for the NHL. We know we're playing for the future, might as well get the kid (Zadorov) some experience and add some other pieces up front.

It's pretty obvious we'll finish dead last again this year. I'm sure there are politics at play in the decision, but I'd like to see Zadorov get some playing time. It's not like it'll hurt the team any. Through 12 games we've scored 13 goals. ...and given up 41.

How fast can you skate? :D

I don't think Fleury even needs a shower after this one. His toughest test was in pre-game warmups.
