The team is improving under our new GM, which is what is supposed to happen. And, our young guys like Girgs, Risto, Zadorov, and others are playing better-and-better. Also what is supposed to happen. So, if anything, winning 4 of 5 makes me trust Murray and Nolan all that much more. I was never pro-tank. Last year we bottomed out. Now, onward and upward.

Trading up for a WR in one of the deepest WR drafts in history just makes no sense whatsoever. It is was Watkins and then a huge drop-off after him, then I get it. But, there are a half dozen or more rookie receivers lighting it up right now. Odell Beckham who was on display last night. Mike Evans in Tampa. Jordan Mathews in Philly. Brandin Cooks in New Orleans. Kelvin Benjamin in Carolina. Plus a bunch of others who are already starting and making plays. Personally, I'd rather have Beckham or Evans AND next year's first rounder than just Watkins.

ESPN comes pretty close with their rankings of Top-50 NHL defensemen. Correctly IMHO, Big Tyler isn't one of them. http://espn.go.com/n...-15-nhl-season- I think Murray knows our future top pairing is Risto & Zadorov, which makes Big Tyler and his $5.5 million per year cap hit (through 2019) expendable if the right deal comes along. Teams will overpay for minute-eating defensemen and Murray is just waiting for someone to get desperate.

Meszaros is playing better as of late. And, Strachan isn't nearly as bad as he should be given his journeyman career.

I had this issue up until this season when I switched to DirecTV. My old cable provider gave me most games in low def (for the same price, of course) and normally only had the home team feed.
