I don't think Nolan has any choice but to pair them at this point. If he splits them up we have two bad pairs. By leaving them together we just have one really, really bad pair and two decent ones. Pysyk and Gorges together? Not a bad combo in theory. We shall see.

With injuries, we're throwing out a ridiculously young team for this game. Average age of the 20 we'll dress tonight is 25: Forward average age = 24.8 (without Gionta 23.9) Defense = 25 Goalies = 26 By way of relative comparison, that's over a year younger than the next youngest team and over 2.5 years younger than the league average.
