  1. Where in the ###### was Meszaros going on that penalty kill? His guy was standing right next to the next!
  2. Yet another stupid penalty by The Mess costs his team. Man, does that guy ever suck.
  3. Stewart is still relatively young. Only 27. He fights, hits, scores, and can skate. I like the guy.
  4. We're better with Zadorov in the lineup and Hodgson out of the lineup. ;)
  5. Stewart from Ennis and Girgs. That's now 30 points on the year for Ennis. Amazing on this team.
  6. Stewart is one of the few guys playing well on this team. Too bad he'll be sold in a few weeks.
  7. ...and either Nicholas Baptise can fly or Kingston has some slow players. I hope it's the former!
  8. Erie at Kingston is on the NHL Network. Two goals for Strome. One on a great fee from McDavid. Crouse for Kingston has been pretty invisible thus far.
  9. I immediately checked my computer to see if the sound was coming from there. To my surprise, it wasn't.
  10. Provorov is money. He leads all WHL rookies in points and that includes forwards. Kid made Russia's World Junior team as a 17 year old (has since turned 18).
  11. Q: What’s the difference between Frequent Flyer Miles and the Buffalo Sabres? A: Frequent Flyer Miles earn points. Q: What do a fine wine and the Buffalo Sabres have in common? A: They both spend a lot of time in the cellar. Q: Whats the difference between the Buffalo Sabres and a mosquito? A: A mosquito stops sucking.
  12. I don't agree with this first part. The NHL has changed over the past decade to the point where all of the top teams have highly skilled, slick skating two-way defensemen in the top two pairs who make plays in both zones. The days of the "stay at home" types are fleeing. And, I think too many of our current guys don't have the offensive skill to take the team to a Cup. I like the potential of Zadorov and Risto as two-way guys, but I don't see high-end offensive skill among the rest of our d-men. I'm in the minority on this board, but I'd be very happy if the Sabres used one of their first rounders on a fast, skilled defenseman. Our current group won't get us to the top of the mountain.
  13. I think this is the longest losing streak in team history, no? We've been badly outplayed in almost every game this year.
  14. The passing issue has been the biggest problem with this team all year. They can't even execute basic passing plays. They still don't seem to know where their teammates are supposed to be on the ice.
  15. I watched the Preds game mostly, but switched to this one when it ended. IMHO, only four current Sabres would even make the Preds 20-man roster: Ennis, Girgs as a 3rd/4th liner, Myers as a third pair d-man, and Enroth as backup goalie.
  16. Jesus. What completely awful play by the Sabres.
  17. They set this fight up in the first period.
  18. Balls isn't getting much playing time... he might be a little rusty.
  19. Yakupov has been much better of late with Roy as his center.
  20. The Russian defenseman Ivan Provorov is money.
