The Jets won't want to move him to a Western Conference team. And, some of the potential suitors in the East don't need a hurt player and/or a guy who costs $6 million against the Cap in the coming years. Buffalo could put him on the shelf for the rest of the year... and then he could play wing for Jack Eichel. :flirt: Saw this on twitter. Pretty funny. Kane needs a traxedo.

Yep. If everyone knows you have to trade a player, leverage goes to the buyer. I think "sweatsuitgate" is legit. I think he'll be moved within a few days. And, the price won't be massive. CoHo (another overpriced left winger who needs a change of scenery) plus a prospect or pick or pending UFA might do it.

Yeah, the latest on twatter is he has asked for a trade. Doesn't get along with teammates. Some off-ice immaturity like posing for pictures with wads of cash in Las Vegas and wearing track suits to games. Yet no one has really questioned his play or competitiveness on the ice. Sounds like he can be had on the cheap given the baggage. http://www.tsn.ca/more-questions-arise-in-kane-jets-drama-1.200583

...After getting into it with teammates who threw his track suit into the shower, supposedly. :) http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/kane-skipped-game-after-incident-with-teammates/

Is Zadorov hurt? Or maybe we just have to get Balls some ice time prior to trading him?
-
CoHo and Stewart for Kane doesn't seem unreasonable. I think if CoHo made about a million less per year he'd be a lot easier to trade (not sure anyone wants his present contract). Supposedly, the price for Kane is dropping. Seems the Jets are just wanting to cut ties sooner rather than later.

Kane's career points per game number (.615) is better than either Stafford or Stewart (.57) and he is only 23. Lots of room to grow. What is the issue with Kane? Attitude problem? Edit: What I read was he doesn't get along with Paul Maurice. He was suspended last game for wearing a track suit instead of a regular suit to the game (?).

One of my favorites. The mighty Fu Manchu...

I hate the Blues. Go Sabres!

My experience with having a new home built was an absolute nightmare. Be careful. I don't think I'd ever put money down on a pre-built "sight unseen" home again. You have no assurance that what you (eventually) get matches what you expected to get. Having a good lawyer saved me (I successfully sued the builder). I think the old real estate adages ring true: 1. Buy the builder, not the home - I didn't pay attention to this and got burned 2. Buy the location, not the home - land is an appreciating asset and a home is a depreciating asset. If you have the right location you'll make money regardless of some cosmetic blemishes to the structure.

I'll continue to disagree with the majority of our fan base - I still see Myers as overrated, especially his offensive game. I also think that a lot of statements out of Nolan and Murray these days are made to drive up trade value.

I had no idea David Poile's dad (Bud) was the first GM of the Canucks.

That was a pretty nasty, physical game last night. Good win for the Sabres. You could tell Gorges really wanted that one. He played like it was game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. I liked the new line combinations (e.g., Stewart with Girgs and Ennis instead of Moulson). -

Sunny and clear in Nashville today. High of 47. I don't miss WNY winters. At all. B-) -

I'll be watching the Leaves play tonight. My bold prediction: The Preds will blow out the Leaves! As for the Sabres, I predict Hodgson gets a point tonight. -
Garrioch the Hut is basically another Eklund. He throws out a few wild trade ideas then heads to the buffet.

I am guessing very few of the folks who are happy that we've semi-intentionally fielded one of the worst teams in the history of the NHL are season ticket holder. The large monetary investment tends to change perspective. -

14 straight losses. No wins in 2015. 21 games without a regulation win. -

Nolan doesn't believe in scouting and preparation. ;) Why is Balls out there 4-on-4? He just got absolutely owned. -

The Isles have a worse penalty kill believe it or not. We're second to last. -
