    Tyrod can play. Kid is a hell of an athlete. I predict we start the year with Cassel as the starter and Tyrod as his backup. I further predict that EJ gets cut after training camp. Remember that you heard it here first. B-)

    Harvin is a great athlete, but there is a reason he is on his 4th team already. He can't run routes. He has to operate as a "utility knife" to add value - returner, end arounds, a little bit of slot receiver.... Still a good signing though if it is only for 1 year.

    Everyone we put in net seems to do okay once they get a few games in. Maybe Irbe knows what he is doing?

    Hdgsn is getting bought out at the end of the season. There is no doubt about it.

    Johan is a plus player over his 25 games with the big club. That says something about his two-way game.

    Larsson is showing he belongs in the NHL. Kid has made some very nice plays on the offensive end.

    Every team that misses the playoffs has a shot at McDavid. For that reason alone I think I want the Bruins to make the playoffs. It'd be disgusting if they lucked out and got McDavid.

    Lindback loses sight of the puck an awful lot. Half the time when he makes a save he doesn't have a clue where the rebound went.

    The Preds are free falling. 5 straight losses. David Poille put together a team that is built for the regular season - long on smaller, skilled players and short of size and snarl. He traded a first rounder for Santorelli and Franson - two more finesse players. Franson was needed due to lack of depth on defense due to injuries, but Santorelli has been a disaster. The Preds were better off with Jokinen. Leave it to David Poille to ###### up a good roster with too many moves. I think he messed up the chemistry of the team. (I was at the Preds - Isles game last night)

    I watched Ottawa's last game against the Jets and they were pretty well dominated for large stretches of the game. Hamburglar kept them in it but was also really fortunate that the Jets missed some wide open nets and hit a lot of posts. That said, the Sabres will get spanked tonight. :bag:
