It’s more important to establish the right attitude and mentality to compete in this league than it is to win a game when we’re definitely gonna miss the playoffs. This team is the biggest group of losers I’ve ever seen on a professional sports team. We all know they’re not gonna make the playoffs. If we accomplished one thing this season, this disaster of a season, it would’ve been to change the loser attitude. We obviously have not even come close to making a dent in that.

I will say this — people get on Dylan Cozens for trying to take on an absolute beast and kind of give him ***** for it, but at least the kid tried to do something to change this disgusting culture that is taken over this once amazing franchise. That died the moment Lucic ran one of our best players of all time and no one did anything. When Dylan tried to do the right thing he got smoked not surprisingly, but where are the other guys who can handle a fight like that who are supposed to be doing that role? The NHL may be way different than it used to be, but you still need a few guys that can throw hands and protect your star players. That falls on Adams. Dylan should never have had to drop his gloves and fight a guy like he did. You could argue that it seriously stunted any progress he was making and potentially ruined him as a player.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I think they should’ve reacted like the Ottawa brawl. I know that’s essentially extinct in this NHL today, but that is the warranted response when they attack your offensive star player in a blatantly dirty manner. This team genuinely disgusts me at this point.

I’ve said it before, but the NFL referees get the most commentary because the league is so popular, but the NHL refereeing is so bad and has been for so long. I would almost argue that the favoritism for the best teams or better teams in the NHL is worse than in the NFL.

But can we fix it without blowing it up though? I’m not saying we ship out every single good player, but I don’t think we should be too worried about holding onto any of them at this point.

When Rob was saying in the pregame about how what we did differently was our work ethic in the win against Vancouver, it really pissed me off. How tf is that not a basic requirement of being an NHLer on a nightly basis. So sick of seeing anything less than that.

We really do have to blow this whole thing up don’t we? I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and we have just as much a chance to get to the playoffs or at least track toward that directly after blowing up this whole roster as we do of trying to add to it or change it up. So blowing up the roster shouldn’t be such a big deal to us I don’t think. We should genuinely try to maximize the return on as much of the talent as we can. I actually think we’re set at goaltender which is nice. But blow the rest of it up and get as much as we can in return.

This is the second or third game I forgot to go back to the game after intermission when I switched to something else. It’s just the same ***** every time.

I truly believe that Levi is the real deal, but he absolutely should stay in Rochester for the next 1-2 years. It’ll be great for him. We are very lucky to have a true number one young goaltender on a fair contract (number one tonight, tomorrow people will claim he’s barely average), and also have a really great young prospect in Rochester.
