End of the year (December) not next year (season). We already put together a 3 game win streak. No reason why they can't put together a few more or even a few 5 or 6 game win streaks.

No. We work in Global Risk Management. Our team is in Buffalo/Toronto until the end of the year on a project. 4 people on our team are from Croatia. Idemo means Let's Go in Croatian. We saw the Czech-Slovakia Sabres fan club run by Viktor Maudr and were going to start a Croatian Sabres and Bills fan club but the owner of the company said no. Then he said wait until after Thanksgiving and we will do something. We signed him up for an account here and he has been too busy to post so we started posting. He is paying for a bunch of people to come back to the US for the World Cup in 2026. Football/Soccer is very big in England, Croatia, and Korea where most of our team comes from. You would be surprised how good Croatia is at soccer for such a small country. The people we work for have connections to Buffalo.

We have a new coach and a new system. You want to fire people, let's see how the team looks at the end of the year.

It was a joke. We have 20 people that we work with and half of them support Harris. They think the world is going to end if Trump gets elected so the 50 year old guy who pays the bills said to limit the politics to political forums. I told him this was a political forum, but he disagreed and said it was a hockey board. I like getting a paycheck, especially the bonus at the end of the year, so I will stick to hockey.

My boss, who we opened this account for (he says he will start posting about hockey after Thanksgiving and giving out some Sabres merch) does not want us commenting on politics, so I am going to delete all these political comments. The Sabres only gave up 2 goals tonight. None in 5-5. Very good night from UPL. Some nights they play great defensively, some nights they score. Eventually they will figure out how to consistently do both.

They need to do 1 thing. Fix the Power Play. Once that falls into place they will be fine. We lost back to back games by a goal. Not the end of the world. Lindy will get the Power Play fixed. Lot of hockey left.

The Sabres have a Power Play problem. Not a team problem. They would be 7-4-1 instead of 4-7-1 if they had a decent PP. It is something that can be fixed. They just lost back to back games by 1 goal. The sky is not falling.

Relax. They are also just 3 points out of the wild card. Lot of hockey to play.

I think the terrible PP is killing this team. Tage and Tuch have no goals on the power play. It is ridiculous.

Right, as I was saying they are producing enough to get them to the playoffs, but might not be the type of guys that produce enough to ever take this team to a Cup win. They might just be 2nd liners for a Stanley Cup caliber team.

Agreed for a Stanley Cup caliber team, but they should be good enough to get 95 points and a playoff spot. Maybe you are right. Thompson and Tuch are just not producing.

You don't make a guy that is only signed through 2025/26 your captain. His production dropped off a ton last year and is continuing this year. Not sure he will even be in Buffalo in 2026/27.

It would not matter as long as the team keeps taking stupid penalties. Both of those penalties were pointless.

Two brilliant penalties tonight are killing us. Too bad because UPL has been playing well.
