Idemo Buffalo

Don't lose faith yet. Hang in there for the 4 game homestand against the Stars, Red Wings, Panthers, and Islanders. They will be home for 2 weeks for the first time in a long time. This is usually when things get figured out.

If you get hit in the face with a high stick in practice, you have a right to retaliate. It is Krebs and Dahlin too. I am surprised we don't see more of it. It is like brothers fighting each other. Not a big deal.

It was a joke. Dahlin isn't going anywhere. When he wins his first Stanely Cup it will be with Buffalo.

Thankfully Dahlin is not like the fans. He knows things take time to change. Leaders don't panic. They fix things for the long-term, not for October hockey.

Eventually Dahlin will be traded and will win his Stanley Cup wherever he goes.

If you ever watch the movie Hoosiers, Gene Hackman aka Norman Dale, had to break the team down and build them back up. I have faith in Lindy Ruff. I think he knows what he is doing. This is going to take time, but I think the Sabres will get this figured out. Sabres are scoring now, that is a plus. We will figure out the defense.

The choice of captain has nothing to do with why we have given up 6 goals in back to back games and are 0 for 17 on the power play. That is all coaching and lack of talent thanks to the GM. If Tuch or anyone else was captain the team would still be struggling.

The trailer itself is free and worth watching. The movie is about the Sabres AND the people of Buffalo.

The good thing is we know the problem. If they get this power play to start working, the Sabres can be a very dangerous team.

I only go to 11 games. I have no intention of giving them up but I probably would go to more if they start to look like a legitimate team that can get to the playoffs and win a series or two.

This isn't a must win game. We have a new coach and a new system. Give them 10 games to figure it out. It would be nice to win this game and silence the critics (getting 5 of 6 points should do that) but the Sabres will figure of the PP and get rolling. This is a good 5 v 5 hockey team. The last two games showed that.

Win tonight and that means we got 5 of the last 6 points available to us. Chicago is a very winnable game too. We could get back from this road trip in great shape.

We beat the Blue Jackets tomorrow and we will be 2-0-1 in the last 3. 5 of 6 points. All is well.

We are making progress, not going backwards. Big difference.

In back to back games we just beat the Stanley Cup Champions and lost in OT on the road to the Penguins/ That is what playoff teams do. They are definitely getting this thing on the right track.

We got 3 of 4 points from a game against Florida and a road game against the Penguins. Can't complain. Sabrehood

We get 1 point, but that loss is on Tage Thompson. You can't take a STUPID penalty like that in OT. Absolutely unacceptable.

No need to panic. Sabres showed a lot of fight tonight. This is not the old Sabres. They will get the 2 points.

No goal!!!! Here we go Sabres. Time to win this game.

Dahlin is about to put the team on his back and take this game over.

We are fine. We have the better team on the ice. Sabres will pull this one out.

Other than the Power Play, Sabres look good. I like our chances in this one.
