True, when he is when healthy. He got injured and has been playing through it. Schedule gets much better now. Sabres getting plenty of days between games over the next four games. Tues, Sat, Mon, Fri. Last weeks 3 games in 4 days did not help.

He threw for 294 yards and 2 TD's against us and we needed a 4th quarter FG to beat him. Not sure what game you were watching but he had plenty of arm strength when we played him. He also has another weapon now. Bills are a better team, but Aaron Rodger is still a top 10 QB in the NFL. They nearly beat us 1 week ago. Do you watch these games? He was basically a 300 yard passer against us and he didn't even have Adams yet.

Be careful. Don't be surprised if the Jets win 7 of their next 8 and come to Buffalo red hot. Their schedule is pretty easy over their next 8 games and their difficult games are all at home. They won't beat us for the AFC East Title, but don't be surprised if they are in playoff contention when they show up here on December 29.

lol. Dahlin is the best player on the Sabres, by a mile.

Dahlin is the Sabres version of Josh Allen. When elite players have a rough couple weeks everyone asks what is wrong. It is almost always injury related. They don't magically lose their talent overnight. Guys like Allen and Dahlin play through some serious injuries. Dahlin and Allen have both looked much better over the last couple games. I think Dahlin will benefit a ton from being home for 2 weeks and getting the rest the team has not gotten due to the overseas trip.

Bills and Sabres both have the problem of not showing up for parts of games. If they can start putting together complete games we might start getting some parades in Buffalo.

The Buffalo Sabres are 2-1-1 in their last 4 games. They currently sit 1 point out of a wild card spot.

Sabres are coming home for 2 straight weeks. They will get this figured out during the homestand. Season has been a little crazy opening in Europe, coming home for a couple, and back on the road for 3 games. Very unusual start of a season. They really need these upcoming 2 weeks in Buffalo.

Definitely not a troll. I have tickets to 10 more games this year and I am really hoping they are played in front of a full house and not 8000 people. Like most fans, I also look forward to watching games a few nights a week, especially once the weather changes and football season is over. Big difference between watching a game when they are in the playoff hunt and when they are not. I also genuinely believe this team will be in the playoff hunt all year. I am new here and I am clearly annoying people with my positivity, so I will keep my positivity to one thread this season. It is October 19, lot of hockey left and The Sabres are currently only 1 point out of a playoff spot and The Sabres are currently only 4 points out of 1st place.

They were considered the 31st best team in hockey prior to game 1. They had not qualified for the playoffs in the 3 previous years. They went to Game 7 of the Coference Finals. One could argue had they won that game 7 they would have won the Cup. The team was 8-9 through their first 17 games. They Won 18 of their next 22 games. The team lost 6 straight in late March. They won 7 of their last 8 games. Moral of the Story, hockey is a game of streaks, where anything is possible. Don't count out the 2024/2025 Buffalo Sabres. Lots of hockey to play. Anything is still possible. Anything.

Cozens got his first point last night and was +2. Perhaps we should give the 23 year old a few games before running him out of town. Dylan Cozens will be fine once the team gets rolling.

We have 1 captain and 4 assistants, they don't all need to be high drive and rile up the team. Anyone of the 5 could do it. Dahlin is the Captain because he leads and is the most skilled player on the roster. Just watch the end of the Capitals game last year with Oshie hit on Tage.

They just beat the Stanley Cup Champions at home. Kings game was great too with the exception of the 3rd period, but they were only a few days back from a trip to Europe, so running out of gas in the 3rd period is no surprise. I don't care about the last few seasons. Different coach and different captain. This team played great against the Panthers and great against the Kings before they ran out of gas in the 3rd period. Not shocked only 5 days after a European road trip.
