I always suspected this when he came back and was forced to take the existing Asst Coaches... I always thought eventually he would be give the keys at somepoint. Quite honestly, I am not sure i want him as GM or POHO but hell I would be even willing to try that and let him over haul the team... couldnt be worse than the status quo. I bet he would make a play for Peca as coach.

Going to the net and stopping people from going to the net requires physical contact... and of course we know these players are averse to anything involving contact, sweating, playing hockey, or otherwise doing their job. Figure skating perimeter golfers that wear shoulder pads and helmets.

I agree, with the exception of Dahlin this defense is atrocious the simple lack of physicality in and of itself is dooming... not to mention the unforced errors in puck movement and the mix of defenseman is not complimentary

I havent gone to a game, bought anything Sabres related, or quite honestly watched many games from pre game to post since in almost 10 years.... I desperately want to like hockey again... I grew up with the French Connection and the Stanley Cup finals... but quite honestly, this team has stripped me of not only my love of the Sabres, but of the game of Hockey in general... right or wrong that is where I am at... yet, I am here... so somewhere I still care or maybe just hope for a day that I can care again....
