  1. San José plays entertaining, so as long Sabres do not join that entertainment they might go home with all six points. Sharks have a good PP and they probably play Blackwood who has been excellent so far this season. Really hope we not see Celebrini and their other kids smiling and joking as they did when they won Red Wings.
  2. Tuch will be in the 4 nations tournament the way he plays! He is a beast right now!
  3. Always great to wake up in the morning to a Sabres win! Highlights and some coffee next.
  4. Fans on this board has been wishing for a more balanced defense for a while now. Power needs a steady stay at home RHD att his side. Names I come to think of, that even might be available, are Connor Murphy CHI, Rutta SJS, Carrier NSH, and as a bonus a cheap alternative, Pittsburghs St Ivany. At least Jokiharju has to go, as long as he has some value, but they probably has to retain half of his salary. Then there is the hope for a top six upgrade. Granlund will be traded by Sharks at some point, he can play all positions and special teams. But the fact is there are hard to find trade partners this time of the season. There were several options during offseason and nothing happened. And one thing for sure, if Adams makes a trade, it will be something totally different from what we wished for. At last something hypotetic that crossed my mind. What if there had been a bold move and we had sent Quinn and a first to Canes for Necas?
  5. Agree that the struggles some of the players have might be the first time in their lives. This is where the veteran leaders should come in, IF we hade some, to calm things down and remind them that there is always a next shift and keep moving those legs. And all of the real contenders have offensive pairs that works out no matter what. We have a good first line, but the rest is still loose pieces.
  6. This post made me think of the clip with McDavid in the locker room after they lost a Stanley cup game to Panthers.
  7. Teräväinen on the third line and Bertuzzi on their fourth last time I checked their projected line-ups. Things not going that well in Chicago.
  8. First step to deal with a problem is to admit there is a problem.
  9. The laws of nature says it should be that way.
  10. It is no excuse, they are professionals and should keep it together. But if the coach can point out what went wrong it might be a good lesson. But expensive.
  11. Young team issues, if the other team is playing a sloppy game, we for some reason does it even worse. Unfortunately it is games like this that is the difference between a playoff team and they who aren't. Hope a coach with routine can fix it quickly. Still, I think it would have been a comfortable win without the injuries on Samuelsson and Tage. Hope it is not something that keep them out of the linup next game.
  12. Has Cozens lost even once at the dot today?
  13. I am happy they did so. Not very often Sabres games can be seen on television here in Finland, but this game can. And it is not in the middle of the night European time either.
  14. A bit surprising for sure. But Atlantic is also the division where teams have most preassure on themselves, and that might not always come out in a good way.
  15. Kyle Dumbass might soon be available.
