  1. Would love to have him. Wonder what it will take to get him? I guess it might be a sign and trade if Leafs can't afford to keep him??
  2. Whitecloud is on top of my list also if we go for the stay at home RHD. Other with question marks: Can Toronto afford to keep Carlo If they decide to keep Marner? What happens with Canes if they get a first round exit, can Walker or Chatfield get available? Is Hawks Connor Murphy good enough to play on the second pair on a team that are serious about taking a playoff spot? Devils have four RHD under contract and Nemec has not been happy with the situation, are they willing to trade him?
  3. Agree, it was a big gamble from Adams to rely on Muel to stay healthy and play the way he did for some time two seasons ago. It did not pay out well.
  4. I am all in on Dobson, as I mentioned in another thread. He has an offensive side that makes Power a perfect player to trade away. And it is so much easier to find a LHD stay at home than a RHD.
  5. Looks like Jokiharju and Mittelstadt will be fine in Boston. Especially Mittelstadt had a good game. Boston keeps fighting for a playoff spot despite loosing several players on deadline.
  6. This is an excellent point.
  7. The roster has not been composed well. I think Norris if stayin healthy can be a missing piece among offensive players, and summer will tell If they can balance up the defense. But even with a better constructed defense roster I do not have any trust in anyone of current coaching stuff to take the team to playoff. However, a more important question is do the players have trust in the coaching stuff? I believe not. Not after this horrible season. Not the way they play.
  8. Agree. I didn't write it with a trade for him in mind. It was just my general thaughts on Pettersson. The team that takes a chance on him and gives him some time to adjust will get one heck of a hockey player. Maybe overpriced, but still, there might be possibilities to get some salary retained depending on what Canucks get in return.
  9. Pettersson needs to change team and he needs time of to get some distance to everything that happened in Canucks. I doubt he will reach 100 points again, but when he gets his spark back he will be a player that makes difference. Those skills are still there, someone just needs to help him to find the focus. My honest opinion.
  10. No, I do not know, but Dundon seems to be a person that people have opinions about. It seems they have taken several steps back, even if they are in a playoff spot. Might be a retool coming. So in that case there seems to be something to be happy about. And Rantanen was as pissed of on Carolina as he was on Avs.
  11. No guarantees this year, but he is signing for eight years. I just know he was pissed and fans of hockey will witness an interesting battle. Senior Finnish hockey journalists compared the trade with how Boston traded Esposito in the 70s. But ofcourse the front office in Colorado did what they believed was the best thing to do.
  12. To not make him pissed of and later same season have to meet him pissed off in the playoffs??
  13. Carolina and Colorado negotiated about the deal behind Rantanens back. Carolina was the big losers in that trade as it seems and Rantanen is back in west to make sure Colorado doesn't get another cup. Karma.
  14. This is a good extension, AAV is pretty much where I hoped it would be. So are the two years.
